Leish|mania-Form
intrazelluläres Entwicklungsstadium von Trypanosoma cruzi (s.a. Trypanosomatidae, dort Abb.) im Wirbeltierwirt (bzw. Mensch), weitgehend den Leishmanien gleichend: geißellos (amastigot), rund-oval, mit Kern u. Kinetoplast. Mit Sitz in Zellen des RHS u. in Fibrillen der Skelett- u. Herzmuskulatur (hier Vermehrung durch Zweiteilung).
